MPOB has introduced the Integrated Ganoderma Management (IGM) to find solution to the disease which includes sanitation, biological, fertilizer with beneficial (trace) elements and chemical control. In existing planting, the inoculum of Ganoderma can be reduced significantly by removal (destroying) of the diseased palm using excavator/backhoe. MPOB research in biological agents and fertilizer beneficial (trace) elements as preventive treatment for controlling of Ganoderma disease has led to the development of new innovations, techniques and product formulations. Until now, three products are available in the market and now is ready to be used by the oil palm industry

MPOB telah memperkenalkan Pengurusan Gabungan Ganoderma (IGM) untuk mencari penyelesaian kepada penyakit yang merangkumi kebersihan, biologi, baja dengan unsur-unsur menguntungkan dan kawalan kimia. Dalam penanaman sedia ada, inokulum Ganoderma dapat dikurangkan dengan ketara dengan menghilangkan (memusnahkan) sawit berpenyakit menggunakan penggali / backhoe. Penyelidikan MPOB dalam ejen biologi dan baja yang menguntungkan (mengesan) unsur-unsur sebagai rawatan pencegahan untuk mengawal penyakit Ganoderma telah membawa kepada pembangunan inovasi baru, teknik dan formulasi produk. Sehingga kini, tiga produk tersedia di pasaran dan kini sudah siap digunakan oleh industri kelapa sawit
